Making different projects comparable
The Greek projects varied in scale, ownership structure and stage of development. Single-owner sites were considered alongside portfolios distributed across several locations and landowners. These differences were set out for prospective investors together with the reported permitting and grid connection status. The comparison distinguished issues specific to an individual project from those affecting a whole portfolio.
Akrini: connecting plant design and project economics
The Akrini project involved a planned 18 MWp ground-mounted solar plant with fixed-tilt modules. Commercial work related this design basis to expected electricity generation, capital requirements and potential revenue. Grid connection requirements formed part of the remaining development questions.
The assessment considered revenue assumptions for longer-term power purchase agreements and sales into the electricity market. Land rights and grid connection requirements were equally relevant: they determined which financial conclusions could be supported at that stage and which depended on further project progress.
Investor coordination
The work included investor materials, financing preparation and coordination with the local development partner. Meetings were prepared, investor questions were consolidated and responses from the developer were followed up. Status reports brought feedback, outstanding assessments and next steps together.
