Asset and commercial context
The asset combines ground-mounted solar generation with battery storage. Coupling on the direct-current side allows some of the solar electricity to be stored before export to the grid. The financial assessment therefore needed to consider generation, power marketing and the combined operation of the solar park and battery.
The plant documentation describes an approximately 7.2 MWp solar installation and a battery rated at 2.4 MW with 2.8 MWh of storage capacity.
Preparation for investor review
Project work in 2025 included an investor presentation and the assembly of operating, revenue and financing information. Further review required evidence of commissioning and grid connection, recent settlement statements and information on operations and maintenance.
The documentation request also covered maintenance and availability information and insurance cover. This connected the commercial presentation with the evidence a long-term owner would need to assess an operating asset.
